Subject: Gingersnap Girls Foundation - Flyer for Stolen Horse (belonging to the Gingersnap Girls Foundation)

August, 2015

Dear Friends,

We are hoping that you will download this flyer and share anywhere you can  (if you are unable to download, please e-mail us and we will send one in an attachment).  One of the Gingersnap Girls Foundation's horses has been  STOLEN.  Her foster person, going through difficult times of which we were unaware, decided to "give her away" or sell her, in complete violation of our legally binding contract.

We have tracked her through a known horse dealer in Fauquier, Virginia.  This is a very long convoluted story but, suffice it to say, we are desperate to get her back to us.  Law enforcement from two counties are involved along with Animal Control and a humane investigator.   I am using all avenues to try to find her, traditional and non-traditional (animal communicators).   We have placed or sent flyers up and down the east coast, veterinarians, farriers, sale barns. I am desperate.  She is a tattoo'd Thoroughbred.  We hope that will help.

Please, anything you can do to help would be most appreciated.

During this time, while I search for her on an almost 24/7 basis (taking calls in the middle of the night sometimes), all fundraising seems to have come to a grinding halt and we are facing a continuance of a difficult financial time.   If you are able, we would so appreciate if you would consider a small donation to the GGF to help the horses while my time is taken in trying to locate this mare.

In over 11 years, and rescue of 298 horses, this is the first time this has happened to us.  I am almost unable to function in my day to day as I search for her.  I will never stop until I find her and I hope you will help me by downloading and sharing this flyer.  Somebody somewhere knows something.

If you are able to help by giving a small donation, we would be deeply grateful. We are very much in need.  Feed, hay, vet, farrier costs continue.  Fall vaccinations are coming up and we have several horses who will be needing the equine dentist soon.  I am on my knees asking for donations.

Thank you to all who believe in our mission of rescuing the abused, abandoned, sick, and slaughter bound. And, thank you to anyone who can help me in my search for Cat.  (Many organizations have been contacted including NetPosse, OTTB rescues, the Secretariat and Storm Cat organizations, plus many more.)

Donations can be made via -
Mail - GGF, c/o 101 Ivandale Road Hamilton, VA  20158

Thank you to all who are so kind to donate to help the horses.
