GC-SPARE VOLUNTEER NOTES: Little Minnie is a puppy who was surrendered with several siblings by her owner who no longer wanted them, and couldn't care for them.

Innie is her sibling (she is smiling, not snarling):

The pictured dogs are located at the Granville County Animal Shelter in Oxford, NC. If you are a Granville County SPARE rescue partner, we can pull for you and place dogs in temporary foster homes for up to 2-3 weeks while transportation is arranged.  If you don't have a regular transport provider, we can help with Pilots N Paws or other transport arrangements.

This is a very small rural kill shelter that gets little traffic.   Their only hope is to be rescued before their time is up.

We have volunteers to help with pulling, local transportation, and can get local vetting for you at a reasonable cost.

If you are NOT a Granville County SPARE rescue partner but would like to become one, please submit our online application here: http://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/wbc9DdarF48dl0HZ0i.

NOTE: This shelter has 22 adult kennels and 5 dogs are being held for legal cases.  There is not much room for the endless intakes the shelter has been taking in.  Please keep a look out for emails to follow with other dogs that are available.
