Houston TX: BARC alerts including Length-of-Stay super urgent dogs and cats (deadline tomorrow 9 AM 1/4/16)


1/3/16  Length-of-Stay ADOPTABLE DOGs who are most likely to be euthanized for space are in a new alert from BARC today. Please notify BARC by 9 AM Monday 1/4 if you want to place a hold on any of these dogs.

Please consult the following blogs to see today's and previous alerts. There were three alerts sent by BARC today; the injured Dachshund was already rescued, but Mugsy the injured Sharpei/Lab still needs rescue or foster. Everyone is urgent at BARC. It is a big shelter and constantly packed with nice dogs and cats. Adoptables may always be viewed on Petharbor.

The latest Length-of-Stay notice for CATs is viewable HERE. The deadline is 9 AM Monday 1/4 to notify BARC that you wish to adopt, rescue or foster one or more of them.

There is a search box at the top left of each blog to help locate by breed, ID number, etc. The shelter is the contact. They are rescue-friendly. Please direct inquiries to BARC.Aid@houstontx.gov.

Each alert has instructions for placing a hold. There are icons at the bottom of each alert to use to share via email or social media. The URL of any alert can also be copied and pasted into emails or social media. Please share for the pets.
