Houston TX: Urgent 1-29 BARC notifications DOGs and CATs

The three dogs on the left are just a few of the many poor souls who need rescue or foster. BARC has a foster program. Sausage has an update; she is still impounded and urgently needs a FOSTER but she has some pledges and rescue interest.

Update: about 5 more DOG alerts have been added.

Today 1/29 there are about 25 alerts for very urgent DOGs and puppies posted on the blog, including an update for Sausage A1373987 who has pledges and rescue interest but is seeking a FOSTER. These dogs need RESCUE or FOSTER urgentlyKitty A1374199 posted 1/27, now named Trinity, was rescued by Friends for Life but welcomes donations for leg amputation and other expenses; details on her post.  More pets might be added.
The shelter is the contact for FOSTER, RESCUE, or ADOPTIONS. They are very busy but rescue-friendly. Please contact them at BARC.Aid@houstontx.gov with any questions. There is a box at top left of each blog to search by ID number, breed, or other key word. Each alert has instructions for placing a hold and may be shared individually by email or social media. Adoptable pets may always be viewed on Petharbor. Please share quickly and widely for the pets.
