Hi Joyce,

I was JUST notified of a young black lab at the shelter in Port Lavaca, TX whose time is up TOMORROW due to overcrowding.  My shelter contact is so nice and thinks they can put her in a temporary kennel outside to buy a little time to try to find a rescue for her.  I've attached a picture of Naomi who is approximately 2 years old and 65 pounds.  She was picked up by animal control with no collar, tag or chip.  My shelter contact says she's very sweet and gets along great with the other big dogs in the shelter.  Tomorrow first thing they'll be testing her with small dogs and cats.

Please spread t he word!  She needs a RESCUE, FOSTER OR ADOPTER ASAP!!!!

I will find a way to get her from Port Lavaca to wherever she needs to be.  Let's save her life first then we can quickly work out the transportation details.

I don't have her ID# but will try to get that as quickly as possible.

Here is the shelter info:

Thanks so much,
Christy
