Hello Rescue Partners!

We have a sad story today.   Those of you on Facebook have seen these kinds of stories before:  the owner who has to make a choice.   So here goes

Little Brother, is a neutered male Boxer, around 4-5 years old.  He was loved.  He is now confused as to why he is at Animal Control.

What happened, you are asking?  Sadly his human, an older person with limited income, who lives in an apartment, and was paying an additional fee to have a pet in her apartment, is in a bad way.  The pet fee went up, and she couldn't afford to pay the regular rent, plus the fee on an ongoing basis, plus other bills.  She had to make a decision, and unfortunately, Little Brother is at the shelter.

Leon says he is great with other dogs and is super friendly and very adoptable.  Will someone step up and rescue him?

The Rescue Process:
1.) Send us an email and let us if you will be rescuing him.
2.) Call Leon and let him know who you are rescuing Little Brother.
Shelter number: 910-572-3067.

Two other things:
1.)  Our FB page is back (Montgomery County Animal Advocates).  Look and see the pictures that have been uploaded as of recent.  There are a couple of pictures that we expect to be uploading either tonight or tomorrow of some additional dogs that have been rescued.  If you have pictures to share of our dogs with their success stories, please forward to us, so we can post.

2.) We will try to send out pleas 2x/week (usually Tuesdays and Thursdays).  If we miss a day or are off by a day, that is most likely because there are no animals available at that point.  Please don't think we are going away.

If you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it!
Thanks.
