Yes, it is an updated post.  I didn't put a date they have to be PTS, because I can't guarantee they'd have that long.  If we pick up a dog today, someone has to go.  We have no empty kennels.  :(

We have fosters now, and vetting sponsors, but no rescues.

I've also since determined that Cedar is probably a Dutch Shepherd mix.

Thanks so much!!

Lebanon, TN - URGENT!!!! - DOGS NEED OUT NOW!!

Good morning!
We are beyond full still.  Dogs just keep coming in (and we have several filled with court case dogs).  We DO have sponsors for 2 of the dogs!  Our current dogs are ALL urgent, as we have no empty kennels.  One more dog picked up today or this weekend leaves us with a decision we never want to make!!  PLEASE help us by sharing, fostering, sponsoring, pulling to rescue, adopting!!!

We have a generous offer for limited short-term boarding at greatly reduced rates at a local boarding / grooming facility, but only for confirmed rescued or adopted dogs.  This could help rescues make arrangements for vetting, fosters and transportation!  Just 2-3 slots are available on a first-come first serve basis.  Any dog boarded must be given vaccinations, including bordatello, 24 hours before moving (we are working on being able to offer those through AC at some point).  AND, they love Staffordshires, so there is no limit to breed!

PLEASE help us save these babies!  They are ALL great dogs who deserve the chance to live out their full potential!

Cedar is a 3-4 year old male lab/ mountain cur mix. He was surrendered by someone who said he came to them as a stray with aggression issues. While he was good with volunteers once he felt safe, he did show fear towards the ACO today, so he may be afraid of men at first. When he came into the AC office, he went immediately to our volunteer and jumped into her arms to hug her!  He gently gave her kisses and just enjoyed being love on.  We still recommend training to help him feel safe and reassured. Cedar knows sit and shake. We think he has GREAT potential!  Cedar has partial vetting sponsorship!

Griff is a 2-3 year old male blue heeler boxer mix. He is VERY ball driven and high energy, but is a good boy! He has some food aggression, but seems eager to please, so we believe this could be addressed easily with proper training. Someone tied him to the bleachers of a local elementary school and left him there. Griff deserves SO much better than that!  GRIFF has FULL VETTING SPONSORSHIP!!!

Gwyn is a 4-5 year old female mountain cur. She is about the sweetest thing we've seen in a while.  She is loving, playful, calm and gentle...the perfect package.  We've never even heard her bark.  She would make someone the perfect family pet!
(We're working on vetting sponsorship for Gwyn!)

No pull fees for rescues, and all vetting up to rescue!
