Subject: 10 yr old dog, Link

Dog was possibly seen biting, but unclear whether cut was from bite or fall, Dr. thinks from bite. BUT my opinion, it appears this was an accident!! HELP LINK FIND A HOME :(

per owner:

His name is Link. He is 65 lbs. He came to live with us about 8-9 years ago. He is currently about 9-10 years old. He is a yellow lab mix. He has always been a very happy and good dog who loves being near people. Unfortunately on Sunday something happened in our back yard, we think he was hit by one of the kids accidently while swinging on the swing set. He bit my youngest son on the back of the leg and had to see a doctor. No stitches required. The wound luckily wasn't serious and he should be find in a few days but unfortunately Link cannot stay with us any longer. We are currently having him quarantined for rabies observation, which is mandatory even though he is up to date with all of this shots. He has seen a vet regularly since he has lived with us. He was also given the thumbs up that he was healthy on Monday by our vet. We are hopeful that we can find a home that does not have young children, who would be willing to take him in. He is a really good and happy dog and I know he would make somebody very happy.

More info from owner:

Link is about the happiest looking dog I've ever met. His entire back end waggles when he is happy, which he is very often. He lived with 2 cats for a time, and never had any serious issues with them. It has been a few years since there has been a cat in the house though.
