We could use the help rescue partners,
Wow! Ten dogs and ten cats have come in so far today alone. Here are two more owner surrenders: "Bailey" the Beagle mix and "Bella" the choc point cat.  Daughter moved off and mom turned in both this afternoon.  "Bailey" is spayed, the cat is not. Full post and current status can be found at www.waltonpets.net.  Photos and more info attached. Thanks!
Bill

PLEASE SEE WWW.WALTONPETS.NET FOR THE FULL BIO AND CURRENT STATUS! ADOPTION AND RESCUE PROCEDURES FOUND ON THE SITE AS WELL!

Walton County Animal Control is a government-run animal control facility. Because we are an open-intake "pound" for strays and owner surrenders, we are unfortunately not a "no-kill" shelter. As new impounds come in (which is a daily occurrence), the ones that have been here longer must sadly be put to sleep. We try to hold dogs as long as possible, but can usually only hold dogs a few days. However, with your help, our goal is to be as "low-kill" as possible! Please feel free to cross-post this email. If you wish to be included or excluded from our mail list, just send a request to bill.wise@co.walton.ga.us.
