These are posts that Kat did on facebook

King aka Pacman (what I call him) getting his purple bath on. Lol. King thinks bath time is kill the water time. No worries...no water was harmed . (Side note. We are laughing at him here but we will be working with him on proper "getting a bath manners" He is available to adopt through the amazing Penny Bryce. We will get some after bath photos tomorrow.

Check out this handsome fella! King aka Pacman. Looking amazing ! He is a Penny Bryce rescue and was extremely emaciated and mangy when she first took him on only a few weeks back. He is nearly 100 lbs and has about 20 more lbs to go. Gorgeous handsome big lug of a dog! He already knows sit and is learning how to fetch!
Kat thinks he may have a problem with his paw or leg and I may need to get it X-rayed when I get him neutered.  He is favoring it.  Kevin says King will make someone a great dog.  He is doing well there.

For additional donations for neutering, x-rays and boarding:

10/4 Thank you all for networking King! They say he is very lovable, high energy, and will look fabulous once hair is back. They believe he is full GS. Also probably closer to 2 years old.

As of today, you will see in his pics he is getting some hair back! Has a long way to go and won't sit still for pics! We have a place for him to go to continue treatment and possibly get into a rescue group! BUT we need additional funds before he can be released!  As of today, the balance is $436.00 through today including additional shots and dips. As soon as we can get this paid off he
will be transported to another location. Every day the balance goes up!

The next location would greatly appreciate any funds should the donations go over $436.00 - it would go to them. He will also need to be altered and have dew claws removed.

Right now donations can be made via:

Hello All,

We have been gathering information re King the GS that is at Briarcrest Vet.

He is:
90 lbs+
2-4 years old
not altered,
HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!!!,
has sarcoptic mange pretty bad.

King has shown no aggression whatsoever.  They say he is friendly and seems like he is just wanting to be loved, and although he is in pain -- it is amazing that he is as loving as he is; usually dogs in pain will snap or not want you to touch them -- that hasn't been the case with King.

They said he seems to be fine with seeing the other dogs. Barks at them. Who knows what he is saying - maybe Hello!

He has had:
All shots including bordetella.
Fecal exam
HW test of course - negative
Bath, Dip, 1 injection for mange - ** They have to sedate him, he hurts so bad with his skin condition.

As of today, including one week boarding it is $399.50 - to repeat treatment and board for an additional week will be $653.00 estimate.

We are looking for donations to help as this emergency rescue was NOT planned. Just could not leave him with homeless man, in the condition he was in.  Please help in any way you can!

Update: 9/19 2:30 pm  88 lbs, not altered, no chip, mange

Betty took to local vet to see if microchipped. None.  See pics at 1st vet. Better pics to come.

He has mange REALLY bad she said, so she took to Dr. White office Briarcrest Vet.

Right now asking for basic donations to cover shots, boarding and I am sure some type of bath until we can see if anyone will help take him and/or into program! Bloodwork would be needed to find out if  HW+.
