Subject: Los Angeles , SAMMY, B LIND KITTY NEEDS IMMEDIATE HELP FOR PLACEMENT

Good morning everyone!
URGENT help needed for a stray blind kitty that was found here in Atwater . The resident who found him took him into the vet where they concluded that he was indeed blind. He was also previously neutered as his ear has been clipped. He seemed feral at first but they have made progress with him and can pet him so now we think he is just a very scared stray.  The folks who have him are already way over their limit of cats and they are also leaving for vacation in about a week so it is URGENT that we find somewhere for this little guy, now named Sammy, to go. B elow from B rian:
Hi Jeannie,
I've had great progress with the little guy. I can pet him on the head and body with my hand, and have used a brush too. Haven't tried to pick him up yet, but has been cooperative otherwise. He likes to eat which is good since he is very skinny. He may not be as feral as we thought, just scared. He does need a bath. He has not made a peep at all, but does purr. He goes to the litter box which is great given the blindness. I will talk to you soon.
