Hello,

The dogs below were on a Cruelty hold since 08-18-17.  They were living in deplorable conditions and many in bad physical shape.  All have been awarded to BARC and available for rescue. They need a confrmed hold by 10am Thursday 09-21-17.
  
A1506328 – High HW+ just cleared from URI treatment
Dog is very friendly, walks good on the leash and demonstrates very wiggly language when approaching her kennel, she loves taking treats. Plays in the outside runs with sibbling.
A1506331 Alopecia on shoulders, neck, ears, and around eyes. Scabs on ears, pinna, and nose. Severe plaque on teeth, underweight and timid.
A1506333 Alopecia-Nose bridge, shoulders, neck and  ears  Scabs on head and neck,  Moderate to severe plaque, Underweight , Timid behavior
A1506335 Timid behavior unable to walk on a leash, scared of people and normal sounds. Alopecia on both hind limbs . Treated for Diarrhea.  Has mild plaque on teeth

A1506348   Timid behavior unable to walk on a leash, scared of people and normal sounds. Alopecia on both hind limbs . Treated for Diarrhea and URI.

Dog is very nervous tries to run to the corner of kennel when I approach her or open her door, cowers down and tries to hide.



  • ALL hold requests are to be sent via email only (none will be accepted via phone) with the following required information:

  • The hold will be placed for 24 hours and a confirmation email will be sent back to the requestor via email.
  • All incoming BARC Aid emails will be answered during the following hours and within the specified timeframe:
Monday  - Friday
10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Within one hour
Saturday - Sunday
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Within two hours
Emails received outside of these timeframes will be answered the next day, during these hours.  If a response has not been received within the specified timeframes, please notify Mauricio Zepeda immediately via email mauricio.zepeda@houstontx.gov or cell phone 832.623.3871 (days off Friday and Saturday).
