6/26 UPDATE
Princess giving Rescuer Monica kisses
6/23/18 the day of her rescue

6/25 update. Princess has passed away. It was pure neglect for years.
The vets found her heart to be very enlarged and her lungs were enlarged as well. Click here to view the Vet invoice (Page 2 does not show but it is just the signature page) from last night; they do not take donations directly and they only give a 5-day grace period to pay the bill. Monica wrote the following update this morning (and has also posted on Facebook here):
6/25/18

This is truly not easy to type as my heart is completely broken and it feels like it's been ripped out of my chest. Princess has crossed the rainbow bridge. I rushed Princess to the emergency specialist last night after the treatment my vets were giving her weren't working.  They advised me to take her immediately which I did.  When I got her to the specialist, the doctors took her right back as she was now in respiratory distress. She had turned blue and her oxygen levels had crashed.  Her heart rate and BP were sky high.  They gave her Butorphanol and propoflo to sedate her to help calm her bodily organs.  Even under anesthesia she was still panting heavily so she needed to be intubated and given oxygen.  She was starting to suffocate. Tests showed that Princess had an underlying condition that had gone untreated for quite sometime.  She had not seen a vet in 5 years and if she had, the problem she was suffering from could have been treated with medications but at this point she was too far gone. When I confronted her family their answer was "We just throught she was an anxious dog. "  Well yes she was because she was suffering. I held Princess close and told her how much I loved her.  My heart is torn apart.  All this little girl knew for 6 years was her mom and dad and they dumped her.  Princess only knew me for two days but I pray she knew how much I loved her.  Rest in Peace my little girl.

I still must ask for Urgent Donations as her vet bill needs to be paid.  We owe the vet $1051.77 for her treatment and euthanasia last night.  We were only given a grace period of 5 days to pay the bill.  The vet will not take donations directly. Please Please help us to pay her bill.  Attached is her bill from last night.  Every dollar counts.  Thank you.

All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be given to all donators.

6/23/18 POST

Please donate and/or share for Princess! Monica Sinforosa of Crossed Paws Rescue, a 501(c)3 organization, rescued Princess yesterday following the poor 6-year-old pup's pitiful life. The dad and his new wife gave her up due to a new human baby and "moving." Monica still has the outstanding bill to pay for Graham the Russian Blue who had pancreatitis; not enough donations arrived for Graham. Her urgent message came in this morning for Princess:

PLEASE CROSSPOST!  I AM THE CONTACT - MONICA AT ENLIGHTENED34@AOL.COM

6/24/18 PRINCESS NEEDS $800.00 TO COVER HER MEDICAL NEEDS! All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be given to all donators. Click on the following to contribute:

We rescued Princess yesterday from a home where her parents were giving her up due to a new baby and because they are "moving."  We were told that Princess was pretty healthy but has not seen a vet in 5 years.  She is not spayed either.  Since she has been here with us she is dealing with severe anxiety issues and breathing problems.  She saw at the vet yesterday for blood work which looks ok but her breathing problem continues so we are off to the emergency vet for chest xrays today.  This poor girl has truly not been taking care of in the years she was with her family.  From what her dad has told me (information given after we took her in) was that Princess lived in an very abusive situation.  His ex wife was abusive and was constantly screaming and yelling in the home. Princess grew up with this most of her life until her Dad left and remarried.  Princess needs our help.  She will be getting chest xrays today and additional medical care immediately. Once she is stable she will need a dental, a spay, microchip and vaccinations.  Please help us to help her.  Without you we cannot give her what she medically needs.
