VERY URGENT - Magalia, CA - (north of Sacramento) Meet this beautiful 4 y/o White German Shepherd/mix female named Tasha. She has had a rough beginning and needs a forever home with other dogs and someone who has time to give her the attention she loves. Tasha is about 70 lbs, spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is submissive with other dogs, and is even good with little dogs if they are friendly and not yappy or aggressive (but we will not adopt her into a home with little dogs or children). She is not good with cats, chickens or any small livestock (goats, sheep, etc.). Not a farm girl! Beautiful Tasha walks nicely on leash, has good recall off leash but does not like to be left home alone. She has separation anxiety and can be destructive if left indoors alone, but she is good in the yard with other dogs. Tasha is in good health, shy with new people and is always submissive. She loves kids but we feel she should have a calm household without the chaos of children running around. Visiting grandkids she would love! She has had no abuse that owner knows of but she obtained her from the Humane Society at 3 months old. Unfortunately the owner has a farm with goats and sheep and now that Tasha has matured she has a strong prey drive, so sadly they have to give her up. Owners gave her to a friend but there aren't other dogs there and Tasha is having a very difficult time with the adjustment, being left home alone. New owners will not keep her much longer. We are looking for someone who is around a lot (retired, works at home, etc.) that is loving and patient and can teach this sweet girl how to be secure and trusting when left alone. Best if you have other dogs for company. TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR HER, we don't want her to be brought to the shelter. If you can give this girl a FOREVER home, please call Pamela at (775) 833-2066 [best] or email  ASAP PLEASE Transportation help available.
